We produce New
Zealand, Purebred Kiko and Genemaster goats along the
Cowlitz River in Lewis County, Washington. We are
located 70 miles north of Portland, Oregon & 90 miles
south of Seattle, Washington and are close to the I-5
corridor.
We just love the
kiko breed. We have come a long way since we first
started raising goats and are now the happiest since we
found the kiko breed. Just the maternal instincts & easy
kidding has made life so much easier. Also with our wet
winters, I have not had any hoof problems and they are so
parasite tolerant. |

For those of you unfamiliar
with Genemasters, the breed is based on a foundation of
three-eighths Kiko and five-eighths Boer. The goal is to
capitalize on the hybrid vigor when crossing the two breeds. We
benefit from the meatiness of the Boers and maternal instincts
and parasite tolerance of the Kikos.
Our herd
tested negative for Caprine Arthritic Encephalitis (CAE),
Caseous Lymphadenitis (CL), Johnes and Q-Fever Diseases on September 18, 2014
and we run a closed herd.
Thanks for visiting us
online and check back often. If you are looking for goats in the
great Northwest, keep us in mind.
